Natalie completed the Body Arts and Sciences International comprehensive Pilates teacher training in 2008 after ten years of personal Pilates practice. She began studying Pilates to supplement her ballet training, and later utilized it in a physical therapy setting after several spinal injuries, thus experiencing the benefits of Pilates as a means of both performance enhancement and injury rehabilitation. She has completed continuing education programs focused on scoliosis, alignment, Pilates for dancers, spinal conditions and shoulder mechanics. Natalie spent several years working with the professional division students and company members at Ballet Chicago, is on faculty at the Joffrey Academy of Dance, and recently spent a year teaching Pilates in a physical therapy clinic in San Francisco. She is experienced in creating programs for a wide range of clients, from elite athletes to individuals transitioning from injury back into exercise. She is inspired by her clients and by observing the benefits they experience from Pilates – regardless of age, ability or specific goals, and strives to develop unique functional fitness programs that will enhance their physical and mental well-being.
